Straight

A single flight with no turns. The simplest geometry and the cheapest to build. Requires a straight opening at least 3 m long.

Standards baked into the math

GoldenCalc validates every geometry against Russian and Belarusian comfort and safety standards. If parameters fall outside the range, you get a warning before export.

Twice the riser height plus the tread width — a measure of step comfort.

Slope angle
26° — 45°

Sweet spot for living spaces. Up to 60° is acceptable for attics.

Lower bound per SP 54.13330 for residential buildings. Recommended — 1,000 mm.
